In 2021, James Monroe Homes received an Honorable Mention from the National Housing Quality Awards (NHQA)—one of the most respected honors in the home building industry. This distinction recognizes builders who demonstrate exceptional performance in every area of operations, including construction quality, customer experience, sales, design, warranty service, and overall business management.

We are proud to be the only home builder in Kentucky to receive this national NHQA recognition, a milestone that places us among the top-performing builders in the country. Typically awarded to large regional and national home builders, this honor highlights our commitment to delivering an exceptional homebuilding experience right here in Kentucky.

The NHQA program, established in 1993 and modeled after the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award, evaluates builders across eight core areas of operational excellence, including leadership, strategic planning, construction standards, and customer satisfaction.

This recognition builds on our continued national achievements:

• In 2018, our President, James Monroe, was named a Top 40 Under 40 Building Industry Professional by Pro Builder Magazine
• In 2023, our Vice President of Operations, Scott Goedde, also received this national recognition
